I’m not quite sure what you mean by “sympathize”. No one is ashamed of what they are, and Afghanistan does have Mongolian blood running through its veins. Wrong and misguiding information. Mongol is a name given to Mongolian people. Turk is also a name given to People of the Mongolia. Ask the real people of Mongolia then you would know about the strong bond between all Turk nations and Tribes. It is hard to describe but it is natural to have this strong bond. We respect all honorable nations.
No difference between Turks and Mongols. All are from Mongolia and are brothers.

Mongol, Ozbek, Turkmen, Kazakhs, Kyrgiz, Turks of Turkey and Azerbycan are all TURKS. That\'s why Hazaras (of Hazarajat) are also Turk. Don\'t be mislead by politically divided form of TURK nation. To be Türk you need to be highly just and helpful to other nations. We give protection to oppressed. And seek liberation againd opperssion. No Turk can harm other Turk. Also the Truks pose no threat to the other nations. We like to help and share our happiness with others, and we fight the cruel.

For any country especially for the underdeveloped ones the resolve of the issues of prostitution, and homelessness, are two very complex to handle, to get them off the streets, especially if the prostitution is an addiction, or if the homeless is a drug addict, then even if they are helped, they careless to help themselves.
But the case you eyewitnessed is different, which could be due to severe poverty and hunger, as the man of the family was perhaps lost in the war, who left behind children with just the wife as an adult. Only discussing this heartbreaking story makes us upset and saddened.

How unfair is it to compare God\'s government with worldly governments. Quranic constitution allows no discrimination or racism, it teaches true equality amongst mankind as such that no one is superior over the other, neither a white person is superior over the black one, in the view of God all human beings are alike, the difference is in piety. And in regards to women, Quran is saying that men and women equally should seek knowledge. Quran says that God has cursed the cruel, the oppressors, those that have no mercy.

First of all, I\'d like to give a shout out to everyone who recognizes that afghans are the people who have toiled, cried, laughed and bleed for our country: pashtuns, tajiks, hazaras, uzbeks, turkmen, tatars, nuristanis, Aimaqs, Balochs, Kirghizs, Kazakhs, Uyghurs, and all of the people who are a beautiful blend of these ethnic groups.
I\'m half hazara and half pashtun - my family (Especially looking at all of my aunts and uncles) are composed of uzbeks, tajiks among other groups and I believe, inshallah, that we will once again get back to how our nation was prior to the russians and the following strife, back to when we were prospering and united as one nationality, working for a common future.
Not one side is the oppressor and the oppressed, for right now some are trapped in an endless cycle of agony, pain, hate and revenge - for nothing is sadder or more scary than people who have lost everything that they cared about, stripped of nothing but are faced to live in the aftermath. We have been suffering at the hands of the english, russians, americans, pakistanis, iranians and sadly now even at the hands of our own countrymen The only thing I can say, is that we must try to put aside racial tensions, and follow the example that afghans always valued, hospitality and openess.
The Afghans I\'ve met in the US, and the ones of my generation we will make afghanistan a better place - it is the afghans who have the responsiblity to fix it - not foreigners.
To the others questions of how Hazaras are treated now-a-days in afghanistan, I can tell you based on my fathers (who is hazara) family, that it pretty much depends. It\'s true that mongolians have close cultural and language similarities with Turk people. But Mongolians are not Turks and Turks are not mongolians. As some sources say We\'re more like Inuits and northern indians of Canada.
Hazara Mongols are real mongols. I saw theis photos. The high cheekbones, eyes etc. So be patriotic and welcome to Mongolia. We need to rebuild the great Empire of Chingis Khaan.

This person from Iran, might not be a true Iranian, he/she could be one of those..... but in case he/she is an Iranian, the word you mentioned about Afghans, are beyond your educational background, beyond neighborhood rights, beyond Islamic prestige as you claim to be the most religious nation, to hate, to criticise, to insult. Even though Afghans committed murders of innocent empty-handed oppressed helpless people of their own which is a bitter shame, and this so called Iranian bickering or ZAKHM E ZABAN should teach Afghans to refrain from enmity to their own people from now on.
In any case, it is wrong for an Iranian to stick their nose in our internal/personal business, mind your own.

What we are fighting for? We have a long way to go for our rights. We love to live, to travel, to climb mountains to discover, to fight back. It is in our blood. As my other friend said, you are so alone on the globe. And I just wonder without Oil what is left behind in Iran. Just pity your condition. You are isolated. To Mr Irooni. Hazaras created your country. Handed you the Ilkhani empire to Sayed Abbas as a superpower and gave you Shia Islam although Iran was mostly Sunni Muslims at the time of Ghazan Mahmud. Iran as a large and united country has alot to be thankful for, especially to Moghli Hazaras. Screwing with our history and calling us Turk is just misleading. Don\'t get me wrong Turks are more admired than Persians, they have a great history and lived parallel lives to Mongols. However Mongols are not Turks and Turks are not Mongols even thought their language is Altaic. I doubt many Persians today would be much interested in Altaic anthropology.

Afghanistan has been affected by war for a long time. What about Iran? There\'s not war but people in there are so poor and unfortunate. They all want to emigrate to Europe and other countries. Pakistan has better economy than Iran and better quality of life for people. Their ayatullah leaders are so stupid. All they can do is say Death to America, Death to Israel, Death to Europe. And embarrass their country in front of the world. Living in Iran is like living in 80 years ago, and it will always stay the same.

I never said there was anything thats wrong with Turks. They live lives very similar to Mongols and have had a long parallel history with Tatars. My point is that Mongols are not Turk. I never said anything against Turks. Its similar to people saying Hazaras are Afghans because they\'ve been living close to Afghans or Hazaras are mountain Tajiks because they share culture and history. Not to offend anyone, least Pashtuns and Tajiks, but what is the point of misleading information? Afghans Tajiks and Turks are all good people. But Mongols are not Turks. Indeed the word Mongol did exist before Genghis Khan and Mongols were a loose nation, not quite the united federation but related nations with similar culture geography language and descended from the same stock. Mongols as an ethnic linguistic and cultural group did exist before Genghis and were among the Tatar people well before Genghis. So I\'ll make it simple for you. They are all good people. But dont mislead like Bush saying there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Mongols or Tatars are not Turks or Uzbeks. The fact that you cannot prove otherwise is no excuse to get angry.

Dear Friend, population is not very important but unity, discipline and effectiveness is important. But, just like you said Mongols (So called) are Turks. Even Turks themselves embrace Mongols (So Called) and accept Mongols (So Called) as Turks. After all Mongols (So called) and Turks shared the same land (Mongolia) and they were same in appearance.
It is unfortunate that we all know that Adam was the common father of all of us but still today we are forced to live in groups. Families scattered. Why? Hadn\'t we all migrated from Africa to all other parts of the world? What if one day only you left behind in the world and there is no one else around you. Wouldn\'t you wish some one from any tribe be there to company you? YOU is any one who read these lines. So, it is duty of all of us who can read and write to spread knowledge, justice and friendship among human beeings. Friendship is really a blessing. It doesn\'t see any factional or tribal differences. If everybody understand this we are lucky. Otherwise every body wants to rule. May be rule himslef alone :)

Stop the pretension, you trying to prove Mongolians are seperate from other Turkic peoples. Mongol culture and lifestyle is not any different from other Turkic people like kazakh, kyrgyz, etc... The so called Mongolians are not any different from other mongols who speak Turkic languages outside of Monglia. Mongol is not even a word, it didn\'t exist before Chengiz\'s time. At those times all the people in Mongolia, or around it were called nomads or Turks. He created the word Mongol to unify all the different Turkic tribes in Mongolia. Different people lived in Mongolia at different times, although they were all turkic peoples. Uighur, and Kyrgyz also lived in Mongolia at some time in the past. After Chengis\'s conquests, the language of the empire in Persia, Russia and India was never Mongolian; it was the Turkish language. Most of the rulers of the empire were also Turkish. Even now the population of the so called Mongolians is insignificant; not more than 5 million. That means that in 13th century the Mongolians were a very small population and couldn\'t have conquered so many lands by themselves. Mongols are turks.

Turks, Mongols whatever. They have been good friends and had brotherly relations. Even all Turks consider Mongols as Mughal Turks. Well, in the past there was no DNA test but we all looked almost the same. They are together from Atilla Hun\'s (Mongol) times. Turks were called the White Huns. Even today they live and manage to live together with no difficulty. Some kind of blood attraction what ever. May be it\'s more than DNA link. That is the link of Trust.

I\'m afraid youll have to give us better proof than that. Hazaras dont speak Turkish either. The ancient Turks lived similar lives to Mongols, nomadic on the steppes. However look as far back as you want there has always been a sharp difference. Mongols become Tatar and further back become the Xianbe people. They\'re Altaic or Ural-Altaic according to some people. That makes Mongols if you go far back enough, close to Finnish, Ainu and Manchus than to any Turks of any kind. Genghis Khan brought Mongols and Uighur closer by the writing and by taking many Uighur soldiers once their lands were conquered. But they were never confused with Mongols. They werent even adjacent. After his time the Turkic and Mongol armies fought together in many places, but they were always differentiated. Western Turks, called Turkish are of Hittie Anatolian descent and are quite different. Eastern Turks are Uighur and had specific names well before Genghis Khans time. There are other people adjacent to Mongols and similar in lifestyle such as Kazak Manchu Tangut but they were never considered Mongol because of specific Mongol culture language and genetic phoenotypes. Uighurs dont even touch Mongolia, they are beyond Kyrghiz who are not Mongol either. Kalmyks/Oiruts are the most distict people, yet still Mongolians. Indeed Mongols were mentioned as Turks in Middle Eastern history specifically because they fought along with Turk armies who associated better with the western Turks and looked similar in their faces to Mongols. Is there a more specific proof you might have that Mongols are Turk?

Mongol people themselves are turk. Like uzbek, they\'re one of the Turkic peoples. Their language is different from chinese or korean, it\'s very similar to turkish languages. So what then, hazaras whether mongol or not, are also from the turkish peoples.

Hazaras have some Turkic mix but are basically Mongol. How can you explain the large list of Mongolian words that Hazaras have which Uzbeks do not? There is also a Hazaragi dance that is exactly the same one as in Mongolia (and nowhere else). There are cultural things, and most importantly, ask around Afghanistan, ask older Hazaras the names of their grandparents and so forth. How come you\'ll hear some very Mongol names? Hazaras and Uzbeks look similar in that they have slitty eyes and high cheekbones, but so do the Chinese. Are we really Chinese? People can easily differentiate between Hazaras and Uzbeks in Afghanistan, take some of those people to Mongolia and ask them whether Mongols are Hazaras or Uzbeks. If we were the same as Uzbeks, how did we ever become a seperate nation? There are Uzbeks in Afghanistan Uzbekistan and China, yet they\'re the same nation. How come we living so close to Uzbeks have been so different in identity, carpetweaving, housebuilding, habits, language etc? I\'m a little sick of people claiming Hazaras are Uzbeks, Pashtuns or mountain Tajiks, without having done any research or known one single Mongol to compare.

Afghanistan should not have been a country. Hazarajat should not be in Afghanistan. It should be an autonomous Independent territory in a country like Baluchistan or something. It was them the F,UCKING British(of 19th century) who made country Afghanistan and made for death of Hazara Nation. Without British support and interference Afghanistan could not have been created, and Hazara people would not have been defeated in the war against the British and Afghans. The British treated other peoples as they owned the world; playing with peoples, displacing people, destroying peoples to make money and profit for their government. Like profitting from Indian peasants\' money while they were starving. Well they got what they deserved in the European (called World) War 2. The only regret was that they didn\'t get enough casualties in numbers and infrustructure like factories, houses. They deserved more than what they got for screwing so much people stealing from so many people but America saved their F,ucking ass (of 1930s), so it wasn\'t possible. The truth is it was far far better if Afghanistan was seperated from the beginning. But that is not possible now since all peoples of Afghanistan need it because of the bad economical situation now.

Sorry but the truth is most of Hazaras are from the Turkish people (Uighur) who were living in Afghanistan long before Chengiz Khan. While it\'s true that some Hazaras are descended from Mongol people who stayed in Afghanistan. That\'s since majority of Hazaras, if you see in Afghanistan, don\'t have the appearance of Mongol from Mongolia, but rather like tatars, turkmen, kazakh, etc... It\'s not true and it is unfair to call Hazaras Mongols since most Hazaras don\'t look like what a person from Mongolia should be like. I also think Turkish people in past times were caucasion, but since the Mongols were numerous as in everywhere, they mixed and became more Asiatic. It could be that Mongols adopted Turkish people\'s language and culture. It could be that Yakuts - that are called the only true Turks - they adopted Turkish language and culture in past times. But as I said, Mongols were more in numbers, more numerous so their population grew more than caucasian Turkish people and they mixed; that is especially since large populations of Mongols migrated from far away in Siberia to near Caspian sea and Central Asia, after Chengiz Khan\'s conquest in 13th century. To talk of Turks as being original Mongolians is to say that Turkmen, Suleiman of Ottoman, all the Seljuq Ottomons, Uighur, tatars, and Golden Horde were really from caucasion Iranian peoples, and not from Turks at all. But the Turkish uighurs themselves are very Mongol too while being Turkish. Also since Hazaras have been/are an established, large population in area around Afghanistan from past times.
